On even numbered years, these funds will be used for Chapter Officer Training. On odd numbered years, these funds will be used to pay for the Leadership Management Seminar Gamma Chapter participants. Members may apply in even and odd numbered years for professional development programs based on needs and funds available. Applications should be postmarked no later than April 15 of each year and submitted to the Finance / Scholarship Committee Chairman. Maximum funds available for the Maude Smith Scholarship are $500.00.
Maude Smith Scholarship Application
Up to $500.00 will be awarded to an active chapter member in good standing for graduate studies. Applications should be postmarked no later than April 15 of each year and submitted to the Finance / Scholarship Committee Chairman.
Sarah Eykelboom Scholarship Application
This grant will be awarded to a female college student entering her third year of a teacher preparation program who is deemed worthy by the Professional Affairs Committee. The Gamma Chapter Grant provides $150.00 to the recipient. Recommendations for the Grant-in-Aid should be made by chapter members, institutions of higher learning, or other community members. The Professional Affairs Committee will the contact the recommended applicants and provide direction for application.

Gamma Chapter's recipient is eligible for the Zeta State Grant-in-Aid in the amount of $500.00.
Money in the Linnie Wilson Travel Fund is used to help defray costs for the Chapter President or her designee for travel and accommodations for District Meetings, Zeta State Convention, Southeast Regional Meeting, International Convention, and/or any other Delta Kappa Gamma Society International meetings.
